Welcome to the Innoverse

We had this dream.

We dreamed that as Canada changed, our media and cultural sector would become a rainbow of different colours, backgrounds, views, knowledge, and experiences. People, different people, all people would join together to build an inclusive and diverse creative community.

Some of that dream has come true. Much of it remains unrealized.

So we created Innoversity.

Since 2002, Innoversity has hosted national Summits on diversity, media and culture in Canada.  We are continuing that work, and are expanding our scope to look at the role of diverse Canadian communities in our democratic system.  The Innoversity Summit on diversity and democratic engagement is currently being planned for 2010.  You can learn more about it here.
