Adriana Beemans

As Director of Programs & Services Adriana manages a management team of five and oversees programs which include settlement, language instruction for newcomers, school readiness and tutoring, community development, and a staff 100 employees. She leads the development of special projects including establishment of a new Community Hub at Victoria Park and Eglinton East and a social planning and settlement strategy for Don Mills North. Previously she worked at Toronto Community Housing as Social Investment Fund Manager, at the United Nations in Afghanistan, and the Aga Khan Foundation in Pakistan. She is the Chair of Project Parkdale Read, President ofir of ArtHeart Community Art Centre in Regent Park, and on Project Canoe’s board.
