Christopher G. Anderson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Wilfrid Laurier University. His main research interests revolve around Canadian immigration, refugee, and citizenship policies, especially in terms of situating contemporary debates within a more extensive historical context. His most recent project explores the intersection of ethnic identities and national identity in multicultural liberal-democratic states. Alongside articles in Canadian Parliamentary Review, the Journal of Canadian Studies, and the Canadian Journal of Political Science (forthcoming), he has co-authored a chapter on the political integration of immigrants in Canada and is revising a manuscript on the first century of Canadian border control policies concerning international migration.
