Aruna Papp Aruna will speak in The Unspeakable on October 26th Aruna is survivor of domestic violence. For the past 30 years she was worked with South Asian Families dealing with domestic violence and has founded 3 agencies which assist immigrant families. A Aruna is an Associate Researcher with Frontier Centre for Public Policy. She has written extensively on the issue of Domestic ‘Violence in the South Asian Community” and is the authour of “Culturally Driven Violence against Women.” Her book “Unworthy Creature: A Daughter’s Memoir of Honour, Shame and Love” will be released in February 2012 by McCleland & Stewart.
