2006 Innoversity™ Open Door Pitch Contest Application

Criteria
- The project is targeted to meet the needs of the sponsoring network or funding agency
- Treatment and subject matter must be original and innovative.
- High-quality writing, research and presentation are critical.
- The Open Door Pitch is open only to creators residing in Canada.
- Project teams must include at least one key creative person above the line (producer, director, host or writer) who is Aboriginal, a member of a visible minority, or a person living with a disability.
- The project has not been previously pitched to or received development funding from any Open Door Pitch sponsors.
Your Application
One (1) original along with two (2) collated copies of the following material must be included in your application:
- Synopsis (one page maximum)
- Bio of pitcher/pitch team
- Production team (indicate confirmed or proposed)
- Outline of project’s relevance to the ODP category to which you're applying (one page maximum)
- Treatment (one page maximum)
- Creative/support materials (LABELED). If available, storyboards, videos, etc. (Demo tapes of 5 minutes or less may be included with this application. Tapes will not be returned.) Note: Applications for the CFRB pitch must include a 60-to 90-second audio tape of your pitch description.
- Financing information: outline development costs, a finance plan or summary of production costs and sources of financing to date (do not include a detailed budget)
- Film & TV credits (indicate role or function)
- Other experience, awards, accomplishments in related fields of activity
- Entry Fee: Please include $20 entry fee (cheque or money order) payable to Innoversity Summit.

Additional Information
The Applicant agrees to allow Innoversity™ to reproduce the materials if the project is selected for the Open Door Pitch. Selected finalists receive one free pass to the 2006 Innoversity Summit™. In addition, you will also be invited to participate in the Open Door Pitch Intensive Training Session. You may choose to have ONE additional member of your team attend the Intensive Pitch Training Session as well as pitch with you at the Summit. Please note that this must be the same person. Tickets to the Summit must be purchased for additional members of your pitch team if more than one of you is pitching. Visit http://www.innoversity.com/summit for registration details.
