Charlie Coffey leads government affairs and business development for RBC Financial Group. Throughout his career, Coffey has made community leadership a priority, holding a variety of voluntary positions including chair, National Advisory Council, Canadian Museum for Human Rights; chair, Council for Early Child Development; co-chair Champions, Aboriginal Human Resource Development Council of Canada; director of the Canadian Journalism Foundation; and Arctic Children and Youth Foundation. He holds an Honourary Doctor of Laws degree from Trent University for his “extraordinary contributions to society through community leadership.” In 2004, Charlie Coffey was appointed an Officer to the Order of Canada
