Maureen A. Scully
Maureen A. Scully is the co-author with Debra Meyerson of the 1995 research article, Tempered Radicalism: The Politics of Ambivalence and Change, and co-researcher with Meyerson of the book Tempered Radicals. Scully is on the faculty of the College of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Boston and is also a faculty affiliate at the Center for Gender in Organizations at the Simmons School of Management. She received her Ph.D. in organizational behavior and M.A. in sociology from Stanford University, and her B.A. from Harvard-Radcliffe Colleges. Scully is the co-author of a textbook widely used in M.B.A. programs, Managing for the Future: Organizational Behavior and Processes, and co-editor of a new volume introducing gender and diversity issues into the teaching of negotiation, leadership, and globalization, The Reader in Gender, Work and Organization. As an organizational change agent, she led a diversity training program for 300 faculty, staff, and students at MIT to teach “bystanders” to be more effective advocates for inclusivity.
