Innoversity Internship - CBC Sports – TOR00987Job Description
Internship - InnoversityThe Opportunity CBC Sports, in co-operation with the Innoversity Summit, is pleased to announce the creation of an internship and mentoring program with the national broadcaster. This internship is designed to provide an extremely curious person who loves storytelling with hands-on experience in the sports television environment. This role will involve participating in the production, direction and/or postproduction of a program. Duration and Compensation The internship is six months long and located in Toronto. It will begin in January 2007. The successful applicant will work as an Associate Producer. Who May Apply The internship is designed for people interested in pursuing a career in broadcast journalism who, along with some previous media experience, can offer insight and understanding into groups within our community who are under-represented in the media. Aboriginal people, visible minorities and people with disabilities are particularly encouraged to apply.
